Our founder and President Luis Esparza (Sr. Luis) has been licensed as a Farm Labor Contractor in the State of California since 1987.  Mr. Esparza started out in 1973 as a field laborer and saw the need and opportunity for providing a strong labor force in agriculture.  For the past 35 years Mr. Esparza has held the same Farm Labor Contractor’s License – a major accomplishment almost unheard of in the industry.  In a recent survey, Esparza Enterprises, Inc. was rated as the 8th largest Employer in Kern County and the 80th largest Hispanic Owned business in the United States.

Prior to becoming a licensed farm labor contractor, Mr. Esparza had over 40 years’ experience working in the agricultural industry with 26 years working in all phases of dairy management.  Esparza Enterprises is a self-insured employer for workers compensation through the State of California OSIP and continues to offer value added labor services in most industries with a focus in the agricultural community.
